2 step. Bad on the engine or not.

Looking into getting an msd 6al-2 for rev limiting purposes and ease of adjusting it. But will also utilize the 2 step feature at some point in the near future. Just curious if it's hard on the motor and will cause problems down the road or not?

Cool what's the best way to switch the 2 step ? I'm guessing there's gotta be like a switch to activate it and then deactivate when you dump the clutch

MSD limits the spark curve as opposed to other systems that would limit the fuel, which could cause a lean condition. As far as the best way, the kit hooks it up to the clutch like you stated. So no worries there.
