Sound is a very subjective matter. Kinda like color.

I personally do not like it.

Youtube has about a million videos. So grab a 12 pack and get ready as sound quality is different on each recording.

Sound quality is also dependent on the quality of your speakers. As was previously stated, sound is subjective.

Do you have any audio clips? I have found the newer 5.0s with catback x pipes on YouTube, and i like the way they sound, but i don't know if the older efi will sound a bit different. Like a carb to efi motor

It's pretty low toned but not too throaty at idle and low rpms, but when you step on it, it screams, higher toned. just un bolt the tail pipes from the midpipe and you'll get an idea of the sound

I have long tube headers with cated H pipe with resonators and magnaflow comp series axleback. Has a low deep tone not that loud till you really open it up! Only way to describe it is it sounds like the GT500 in the movie Need for speed!!

IMO, no mufflers on these cars is just a lot of noise. Sounds like *** to me. Super loud does not=best and if you live in a suburb it will just be a matter of time before you are ticketed.

Like, i had a 4.6 f150 with a 40 series single in dual out that i loved. You could feel the exhaust before you saw the truck. But it wasnt obnoxiously loud where i ever got complaints.

Depending out what's done to your motor will decide the sound also. I had to run no mufflers on my 5.0 with just the h pipe for a few days and I hated it. It was very very loud, but sounded pretty crappy to me. I've herd some stock cam/head 5.0s with no muffler and they sounded decent. But if you want really loud, but a clean loud, get Slp Loudmouth 1s. I put them on mine with a bbk h pipe and it's heaven. Super loud but clean.

Let me just say that this car does not sound like crap! I've had more complyments from Mustang owners, Comaros, Corvett owners and where I work at the Ford plant inKC people love the sound!! I had roush on at one time, and this set up blows them away! You'll have to hear to believe! Ill have to figure a way to download the sound on here!!!

It turns out as of now the mustang has true duals, no cats, off brand mufflers, and some cheap tips. Sounds good though. Just want it a little louder. When you get on it the sound is gorgeous though
