1995 mustang

When I'm just in like 1st gear cruising and I let out the clutch more then I should I hear my clutch like free spinning ? I hear something spin and when I push in the clutch a tab bit it goes away. Any suggestions what I should do to fix it ? Mustang is a 1995 mustang gt 5.0
