94/95 spindles vs 96/98 spindles?

So I went to a few junk yards today to see if could pick up a set of spindles for my 1995 mustang gt. Their was only 1 94 mustang and it was missing both but I had about 6 other 96-98 mustangs to choose to pull from, so what're the differences between the two? I've had a few people tell me that the later spindles offset your wheels more and have them stick out up to 1.5" wider? Should I just get what spindles I can or search more for 94/95 ?

Youre correct on the spindles not fitting.96-04 spindles have a higher mounting location. This info is listed on Maximum Motorsports website. The 94-95 v6 & v8 spindles will fit the Foxbody to do a 5 lug brake conversion, but the 96-98 Mustang brake parts cannot be used to do this same conversion so that's more evidence showing you why a 96-98 spindle won't fit the 94-95 model. If the spindle would fit between the 94-95 & 96-98 models,it would also fit the Foxbody and it doesn't.The 99+ Mustangs do have PBR aluminum, dual piston calipers that you can use with the 94-95 spindle. You will have to use the banjo bolts that come with the 99+ caliper though, because the caliper threads are different, than the threads in the 94-95 calipers.
