The newest member of the family...

Picked this up tonight as a father/son project. He is 14 next month, so hopefully it will be ready for when he drives. The interior is atrocious on it. A LOT of work to do on it but I think we can work it out. Asking was $1500 but he went down to $1200...

Welcome to the party, glad you could make it.
You definitely got a good deal it sounds like. And it looks like it's in pretty decent shape, body wise. Do you know what engine that's in it?

Pick your poison.

Engine is a 302 out of a Fairmont with lots of happy stuff on it. I don't have the whole list right now, but since the project includes us rebuilding the engine anyway I am not too concerned about it.

Project 4 eyes. I like that model it kind of stands out from the rest of the foxes. Nice deal on it and very nice car. Good luck on your project.

Great project to start on.
Exactly the same age I was when I got my first car...also a father and son project. Where I learned first hand about cars from my father who was a mechanic along with my grandfather who was an automotive machinist.

I'm sure he will appreciate it growing up! Hats off to a good Dad!
