94 v6 T5 to 90 GT swap question

Hey all, so the t5 I have in my 90' GT took a crap. Now I can get a 94' 3.8 t5 for free from a buddy. I was going to swap a Fox length input shaft and bearing retainer and call it a day. BUT, I saw Modern Driveline sells this:

MD-401-2110 Mustang Modern Driveline Adapter Plate 1994-2004 T-5 Transmission to 1983-1993 T-5 Bellhousing | CJ Pony Parts

It's an adapter for a 94-04 T5 for a 87-93 car. It appears I could use this and my Fox bellhousing; but does anyone know if anything else is required? Will my crossmember bolt up? Anyone have any experience with the part? And/or swap?

So just an update. I did some more research, and it looks like the driveshaft would need to be shortened by about an inch. Otherwise, it could bottom out inside the tail shaft of the transmission. A friend asked if you could machine the input shaft and bearing retainer to shorten them to a Fox body length. Althugh that sounds easy, I'm afraid the splines may not be in the correct position. So I'm more than likely going to just swap the input shaft. Its not a hard job from what I've seen, but just have to make sure all the bearings come out and it's shimmed correctly. Has anyone else done this? Anything else in should keep in mind?
