Vortech v3 on my 331...

Puttin a vortech v3 on my Stroker build finally. Puts down roughly 340/370 to the tire now so should put down good numbers.

Posting on here cuz I'm gathering up my supporting mods. Got 42lb injectors. Going to buy a 255lph fuel pump tonight. Wondering what else I'll need and what size mass air meter I need ??

Well who is going to tune it as some tuners have preferences for the different MAF brands.

Are you still on the stock block? If so you will not have very much headroom before the block starts to become a problem. Hopefully you went DART and did not put $$$ internals in the glass jaw that is the OEM 302 block.

To answer your question you should get a slot style MAF in a 3" tube. Slot MAF is the preferred setup for all tuners out there currently.

It's a coast high street fighter block. So pretty sure it's factory. They say rated at 550. I think that's a little high. Only looking to get like 450 out of it. Just a street car.

Should live a long life at 450whp with a good tune. Till you get tired of that power level and want to turn up the boost.
