Carborator choices.

Hey everyone. I have a 87 gt that was swapped over to carb before I got it. The motor is an 85 with a Holley 750 on there now. I can't seem to get it tuned right and I also thing it might be a little big for what I have at this point in time.. motor is a 306 with some bolt ons. Cam, rockers, intake, headers ext.. What would you guys recommend for a carb or even some pointers on adjusting this one. Thank you in advanced

I agree that a 750 cfm carburetor is too large for a street driven 302.
600 cfm is the correct size for a performance built, street driven, 302 cubic inch engine. Or 306 in your case.
