HELP

So I just recently changed my heater core on my 89 mustang w/ factory AC wasn't as hard as I thought..
So everything is hooked up but there's no heat...
The heater hoses that connect to the firewall aren't getting hot at all..
My dad told me to flush my system before I hooked it up but I didn't listen.. Can anyone help me

I would loosen the radiator cap and warm the engine up. It may just be airbound (pay attention to coolant level) then, if the hoses are accessible loosen one of them to try and burp the system

Listen to your father. He didn't tell you to flush/burp the system for his health...
