So here is my project post. I'm making progress starting my 302 swap. The yellow car is the donor car from which I got ; Full motor, exhaust (minus x or h pipe), full suspension, rear end, brake system. From the green car I took the driver seat, pass fender, and strut tower brace. From the third purple car not pictured, I got the black interior panels, dash and carpet. And console. All for $700. Which I felt was a good deal. The problem is I will need to acquire the ECU, wiring harness to my knowledge. I will put the motor on the stand and take a thorough look at the block and internals. I'll be updating as often as I can. For now my initial budget I'm working with will be a solid 3k. Just to get the ball rolling. I will aim for a 300+ HP target. Oh and as I typed I forgot, I Wana aluminum shaft. This is my second project, first in the line of a major job like this. I would like to seek any and all technical advice from the community.

You can PM me an offer. Its in pretty good condition with maybe a few "broken" clips. Nothing that would hurt the way it works. I pieced it together and prob spent 400 on it. They go for 300-400 on eBay when you get it all together generally.

I believe what he means by recipient is,what year Mustang are you installing the donor cars parts into?? Is it another 94-95 model or a 96-04 model?? I assume its one of the categories listed above, since you're using the fender, dash, carpet, etc and those parts would only work on 94-04 models. If the project car is a 94-95 model, was it already missing the ecu & harness??
I guess were just use to the poster showing pictures of the project car instead of the donor car & that's why smurfstang & myself were curious

Ah I see my apologies. I had wiped all my photos from my phone in prep to document everything. I am putting all this into my 95. The donor car was also a 95 I believe if not it was a 94. Click image for larger version

So this is the best photo I still have on hand of the receiving unit. The front clip is damaged and slightly shorter due to a deer encounter, in place of this I will be installing the cobra kit.

Due to the arson which destroyed most of the car. I assumed and found no trace of the wiring or the ECU. Inside. If they did somehow survive I don't feel confident in their functionality from surviving said fire.

So I assume the recipient is a v6 car right or does it just have rims from a 3.8ltr?? Thats the first thing I noticed. If its the 3.8ltr,I can definitely understand why you're swapping a 302 into it.It looks like youve got all the parts needed to do the swap.Youve got alot of work ahead of you,but you seem to have everything covered.Did every bit of the wiring burn behind/under the dash?? I guess it doesn't matter too much, since youve got 3 donor cars to snatch dash wiring from.I wonder if the dash wiring(except for the main ecu harness)is identical or different between the 94-95 3.8 & 5.0??
I feel for ya brother when it comes to working on dash wiring. There's two things I can't stand working on and that's dash wiring & anything related to crawling under the car.Unfortunately those two areas make up a big percentage of the car,so there's no way around that.
Good luck on the project.

Thanks.
And yea it's my old 3.8 being removed. Don't get me wrong it's been a great motor and I enjoyed it. But it feels like it's getting tired. And well it's time for more power anyways

Today's update, brought everything home and payed up. Load up went pretty smoothly. Getting it out of the truck was fun haha, we lowered the motor by crane onto the ground the second or third regroup, bolted up the face plate for the engine stand, got it secure and it now stands freely and safely.
