1995 Mustang GT Rough idle and stall

Just picked this car up a few weeks ago. It's a 5.0L with a BBK MAF CAI throttle body and off road h pipe. CEL comes on after driving a few minutes. Smog pump has been eliminated unhooked and short belted. From what I researched the distributors are known for going out so that was the first place I started cause I seen really fine black powder in the cap. It has a MSD cap and TFI coil. Also MSD plug wires. After driving about 10 minutes or so sitting at a idle for maybe 3 or 4 minutes the car will start missing give it gas and it will try to Rev but die. Restart and still miss but once rpms past 25k it clears up but acts like it has no power pulling. Ease into it and pulls fine. Open to suggestions. I had the ignition control tested 7 times in a row and it passed. Never even got hot.

Check the codes so that you can find out why the CEL is being triggered.

I have to find that diagram to pull the codes. Funny thing is as long as the car is cold it runs great.

From the codes I'm getting a TPS ACT ECT and EGR. All the smog piping is eliminated. So I'm leaning towards the TPS being the issue here with the idle and stalling

That is a good lead, just for my personal experience my car 94 gt was doing the whole no power up top and maf was gross. If you just got the car it would be worth checking just in case.

Anytime you get codes for that specific group of sensors, you need to remove the ecm from the kick panel, remove its back cover & look for a burnt signal return trace on the board. All of those sensors share the signal return wire,so test that wire for continuity (ohms)between the signal return terminal at the diagnostic VIP connecter & pinout #46 at the 60 pin connector
(ecm disconnected) You should get 5.0 ohms or less.If not,the wire is open between those two points.
If the wire passes the test, inspect the board. The picture below shows what a burnt SR trace looks like.Check the 3 blue capacitors too for leakage, buldging & broken posts.
The first picture shows the burnt sigrtn line
The second picture shows the burnt line after it has been repaired with a piece of wire
The third picture shows a capacitor & leakage onto its posts.Yours would need to be replaced if it looked like this one.If one of yours is bad, replace all of them while youve got it apart.
Make sure you disconnect the neg battery cable before disconnecting the 60 pin connector from the ecm.

I have been since I seen that. Haven't seen anything else like that. That's the only thing I've seen rigged so far.

Built the resistor pack to fool the ecm on the egr. We'll see what happens with it.
