Cigarette fuses!! Please help

My cigarette outlets in my Convertable 98 do not work, I can't remember if they always haven't or not. But I went and got new ones and they still did not work so I'm wondering if I have two amps connected could that be part of my problem? Please help!!!

Check your fuses. It could be that the fuse is blown. Are there any other things that dont work that are related to your dash? Radio, interior lights, dash lights? Sometimes more than one thing can be tied in to that circuit.

Check under the dash for the fuse box and see if any fuses are blown. Also check the fuse box under the hood for blown fuses.

Im sure itl be in the fuse box located under the dash inside the car.

The fuse for the cigarette lighter & aux power is in the underhood fusebox. Its on the top right. It should be the only blown fuse in the panel. The wire that connects to the lighter has been known to get loose & wiggle its way off the lighter so check that too,if the fuse isnt blown.
