Coyote Swap

Has anyone here done a coyote swap? Been thinking about doing one to my 91 LX. What would the price be in parts? And how difficult is this to do? Any info is appreciated. Also any coyote swap pics.

I gotta say,the Coyote almost looks like it was built just for the Foxbody. It streamlines the engine bay, giving it a very clean look. You cant beat the strength,hp potential & smooth operation this engine has, especially if its equipped with the right supercharger package.
Ive seen numerous recommendations for this swap vs doing a 331,347 or 351 swap.

A few pics I got off the net below....

I know a few years ago the majority of the cost was in the motor. I believe a few people found 5.0s out of trucks and replaced the Cams to cut costs as I think there are only a few minor differences between the motors in the mustangs and trucks.

Heres a good write-up that shows a installation of a Coyote into a Fox.It even explains what you would need to modify,if using the stock kmember & stock Coyote exhaust manifolds.A tubular kmember & longtube headers are needed,if youre not able to do those modifications to the stock components.
