1986 Notchback

Just got a wild hair about building a 1986 Notchback. I know where there is a pretty nice one and the guy is asking $1000, and since he is moving I may get it cheaper???
No, it's not a V8 although it is a 4cylinder with manual trans.
I also know where there is a 2012 Coyote/6spd collecting dust.
The last 86 I had was a Capri with 5.0l and 5spd.
What do you think????

A 4 cyl car is a good starting point for a project such as this.

Lol.
I don't know. Do it if you feel like it Olerodder.

If I remember correctly, some of the parts for the four-eyed foxes can be difficult to find. You may want to do an inventory of any exterior parts that need replacing, and check on their availability before making a decision.

Love the 4 eyes. And you can get good deals on all the parts I'd do it for sure.

Went to see it in person and somewhat disappointed. There was rust in the usual places although I was told it was rust free. I'll keep looking and thanks for the response.
