fuel pump??

Sometimes from a stop ill go to take off and my car will go but then bog down and almost stalls but it stays running (barely)and if I put my foot on the gas it wont rev or anything but its still on and then all of a sudden it will kick in and all is good again , any help will be greatly appreciated.

Could be a number of different things. Could be fuel pump, throttle position sensor, erg position sensor. I would start by checking the fuel pressure. Is it throwing any codes?

if it does it a WOT then its not egr related, but fuel pressure should be checked first, dirty mass air is something to look at too

I cleaned the maf the first time this happened and it still does it . the CEL never comes on when this happens and i dont own a scanner to see if anything shows up on the comp. Ill have toi ready my hanes /chilton manuals to see about the TPS and the egr sensor

hey bud...i would start with getting rid of your fuel pump and putting an aftermarket inline fuel pump in...and a pressure regulater.....it could be some vapor lock...

throttle position sensors are common issues with the 5.0, u could try to adjust it or check its voltage. the repair manuals have more info on this.
