quick question about a 1995 GT A.S.A.P.

Ok my brother has a 1995 GT automatic. The crank broke this past weekend lmao. Ok the question i need to get a answer for is as follows. Can you swap a 5.0 GT to a 5.0 Cobra direct swap or do you have to change anything as in computer or anything really? If so what has to be changed? the reason i'm asking is the dealership has a GT and cobra priced the same for some odd reason which is good for him. Thanks to any solid info. and need answers a.s.a.p.

The heads, intake, and computer are different. The cobra computer is a better one than in the GT. The GT is little finiky when it comes to mods. In english, it doesn't always like mods. If you're getting a tune, it doesn't really matter anyway.

yes, the cobra has 24lbr's also, hence the big need of the different computer (at least thats how the 93 is)

So... Is it possible to swap the cobra in with just a dyno tune or not? lol. My brother is not looking to mod right now just needs a running car but wants the cobra motor for mods and power later on. It's the only car he has and my mom is having to take him to work and everything else.
