Unhappy just a girl trying to work on a car

ok so I have a 94 ford mustang 5 speed and the horn stopped working. Some how I have narrowed it down to the fact that it actually needs a new horn.... the only problem is i can't find where the horn is under the hood. i have looked by the radiator, by the battery, and by the headlights..... any suggestions?? please help

Re: just a girl trying to work on a car

I know you check the fuse check the horn relay as well once you find the horn run a hot wire from a jump box to the horn and used the screw on the bracket for the ground to test it

I was bs'ing with brent last night about how hard it would be to get to the top even though I don't know a thing about mustangs I have my own advertisements!

Luckily 12 volt is the same on any car, and that will be the secret to my success.

Also Nay, I read that the horn might be difficult to see hiding behind the inner fenderwell if its placed there on the frame in front of the drivers side wheel.

actually here is what I read http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Where_is_t...91_Mustang_5.0 I guess that isn't the right year though, but can't hurt to look if you are still stuck.

Will, I believe you are correct and that the horn is up behind the driver side fender.

And a girl that works on her car? I'm in love. MARRY ME!!!!!

Re: just a girl trying to work on a car

my horn on my 01 died, its in the fender well on the driver side, you can take the tire off and remove the inner fender black thing via the push pins and a little tugging. That should get you access to the horn.

Re: just a girl trying to work on a car

I think we had a pretty good shot at the horn on Kyle's car when we just took the front bumper off as well.

trust me, I believe you work on it. I'm pretty sure 99.99% of the guys on this site think it's a great thing. I leave the 0.01% for the random guy that hates girls doing anything.

The horn compliments the middle finger. Makes certain you got their attention

Not if it's some crazy women singing Britney Spears while talking on her cell phone and applying makeup. You need loud noises to get those peoples attention.
