Basic tune up on a 94 gt

hey guys, i just bought (well i put 2k on it already driving it across Oregon) a basically new 94 gt in excellent condition, with 76k on it. A buddy of mine suggested going through and doing a basic tune even though everything looks to be in order (ill do oil and filter in about 1k cause the dealership did that before they sold it) i'm basically seeing if there is anything i should replace while i'm going through things since i've never worked on one of these before.

so far i have:
cap/rotor, wires, plugs, and a new coil. i feel like i'm missing something, but thats all i have wrote down for the moment (i'm probably thinking of an air filter as the missing piece, but that will be replaced with a cai probably from American muscle suggested else where on the site)

any suggestions would be awesome.

Fuel filter is always good. Probably wouldn't hurt to flush the tranny and put in some new fluid either.

Re: Basic tune up on a 94 gt

you could change the gear oil in the rear end. that way all the services are done, and you know at what mileage it needs to be done again

A coolant flush would probably be another good thing to do. Basically, change all your fluids.
