Thumbs up Site cards/pamphlets

I have been seeing a lot of mustangs parked in the lot at work and keep thinking it would be nice to throw something on their car pointing them to the site. I know we thought the same thing in Jacksonville while walking by those mustangs on the way to get food. It would be kind of cool to have some sort of card or something that we could leave under someone's wiper promoting the site. It could be good for car shows too.

What I am thinking of is something like the ricecop tickets or even something as simple as an evolution business card. It would take someone to design the layout so it was fairly standardized. Then, people could order some with someone being the point man for the orders and have their site ID and maybe some referer other info on the card. This way, everyone could get their own set of site cards with their name on it and spread the word about the site.

I am sure not everyone would go for it, but for those that are interested and go to a lot of shows, it would be a great way to spread the word of our site.

Re: Site cards/pamphlets

I do not have the creative skills to make something worth giving out to potential members

If someone on here that does wants to develop some kind of pamplet with info on our site and inviting them to come check out while complimenting their ride at the same time that would be awsome.

If the person that does it wants to do it really nice and needs some money just let me know.

I would love to do this but I just do not know how to nor do I have the PS skills to do so.

I think the key is to get a real nice looking card done. Something that looks professional to convey a better image.

Re: Site cards/pamphlets

LSS has these: http://lonestarstangs.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17789

I was hoping for more of a pamplet type deal with detailed info on the site etc. But anything is better than nothing

Re: Site cards/pamphlets

i don't like the pamphlet idea. I live in a relatively large city, and anything that doesn't look like a ticket gets thrown on the ground. Tickets get read, then thrown on said ground.

I think a card would work, colorful, like the site, but tasteful. On the back it could be like
"Member: ___________"
and we could put our name on there.

looks cool, but it looks like you have a space between mustang and evolution, which would be a bad thing .......

Re: Site cards/pamphlets

And I wouldn't mention a set number of members as the card will be out of date very quickly. I would keep it generic if you decide to mention members.

I agree there should be a car on there as well. The car we use should be something hot. I suggest the Shelby GT500 concept car from the NY Auto show...or my car. lol

It's been killing the amount of time I want to drive my car. Granted, we haven't reached $3 for premium yet (I think it was only 2.79 or 2.89 by my house), but it is still more than I want to pay for it.

yeah gas prices have definitely been stopping me and my friends from going all that far and getting to the track

Here's an attempt...i can change any of the text if you'll like the design but not the text. I thought about putting Referal:______ in the lower grill but...it is black so pen wouldn't really show up. when we get a final one i'd say just buy some thick printer paper and print your own off. You could even add your name typed. I guess the referer's name would just go on the back of this one.
