No they aren't a sponsor anymore. They dropped sponsorship on 99% of the sites they were on.

Re: american muscle not a sponsor?

It has to do with their affiliate system they were using. I have reached out to them but have yet to get a response. Apparently this site isn't that important to their business despite the amount of business that we have sent them, which is quite a bit.

The fact that I PM'ed them for months about a discount code for this site and whether one exists made me not use them to buy anything. Refused to answer, then told me on another forum I never PM'ed them like I'm some sort of moron...

Then, eventually, there was a response.

Customer service wise they seem good...but forum relations are definitely lacking.

Re: american muscle not a sponsor?

i've always had good service from AM. great products, fast shipping. it saddens me that they are lacking so much on the site relations, but i don't think i will stop ordering from them completely.

/QUOTE]

I really like CJ Pony Parts. Ive bought from them a few times good customer service (IMO), decent pricing, and shipping was fairly fast.

[QUOTE]i dont like this, it makes me want to use other sites because when u say ur gonna do somethin you need to keep your word. idk about u guys but thats how i feel./QUOTE]

I totally agree with you Ive only used their site once because I heard I could help the site get a percent of my spendings.

[QUOTE]I have access to how many sales we have sent them, yes./QUOTE]

How much money have we thrown their way?

forum relations, thats what i was looking for. not customer service, they have good customer service i just recently bought my cai from them and recieved it after payment within 5 days over a holiday weekend. but that really is sad that they have such poor forum relations.

Re: american muscle not a sponsor?

I hate when companies make it IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with anyone... they try to weed out the weak that wont press X 10 times on different menus in the right order and then WAIT for an hour to talk to someone, then repeat the process a few times until you get to go through the magical door that leads to Narnia and finally talk to someone that has the ability to help you (but wont)

Based on your initial contact, does a "major presence here" mean that we will receive a discount code? Or will we continue on with the associate program we had before that funded the site?

I'd love for us to have a discount code for this site and a member of American Muscle become active. I'll keep everyone updated.

Re: american muscle not a sponsor?

even a 5 or 6% discount if someone is trying to help members thats usually enough to make me purchase from them.

Re: american muscle not a sponsor?

Yah 5 or 6% does help when you order $100+ worth of products. I did buy smoked headlights from them and used the public "$5 off a $100 or more" discount, but I have started purchasing thru other vendors as well.

Stangmods always gives me a coupon code with every purchase for 5 of 6% off...should try and contact them.

I have paid more attention to CJ Pony Parts again now that they offer free shipping.

I ordered a bunch of stuff from CJ Pony Parts years ago and shipping took forever...it about 2 weeks before I got my order, and I had to pay for shipping.

American Muscle has always had great shipping...I get my orders in about 3-5days tops.

But now that CJ has free shipping I'll start getting stuff from them again...they have some items AM and other places don't.

They were at the Iola Car show this last weekend...they drove a big truck trailer 15hrs from Penn. Naturally I had to pick up a few things up

Good to know. It's much easier to make people happy than to make them mad. There is a saying along the lines for every satisfied customer they will tell 1-2 people. For every dissatisfied customer they will tell 4-8 people. It's not the exact quote, but something close to that. I once took back shoes that had epoxy on them, the customer was so pleased, she bought more stuff from me.

This is so true.. People very rarely talk about the good experiences they have but are more than willing to remember the bad ones..

Has anyone ever heard of Stage 3 Motorsports? I just bought some stuff from them and they seem really good.. So far. haha I was going to buy the parts off of AM but they didn't have em in stock.
