Gas problem! Help

Hey,
I just bought me a 2006 mustang GT, about 59,000 miles... I love it.. I have problems pumping gas. I pump and pump and it keeps trigging the pump to stop every second.. I can't get it to get a regular flow if gas.
The dealer said its a normal thing but I'm not sure. I can't get a full tank since it keeps stopping. If I keeps pumping then I will over flow the tank...
Anyone can help

Re: Gas problem! Help

try turning it at an angle.

So if the nozzle is straight up and down --> ( I ) try turning it at an angle --> ( / ) or --> ( \ ) and see if this fixes your problem. If it does get back to me.

Yeah thanks I finally got it. I have to turn it about 45 degrees to be able to pump it. I pumped about 13 gallons with out any problems. I hope it keeps working. Will see next week.

Your not the only one! They finally fixed it on the 07's I think but I got the same issue and it's annoying.
