Its for sale adds. There have been issues of scamming in the past. The rules are there to prevent scams.

20 posts used to be a lot for me. Now it takes me half a day it seems.

Great question, I have never thought about that. Years ago all your posts counted. Man I miss those days, I digress. Anyway, I'll ask and get back to you.

Why can't I comment/post?

Sadly the answer to that question is it also removes your post count. I tried it by creating a test thread thread and then Moving it.

Exactly! That was a great time. Now... well, it's still good, but the old days were better.

Sorry you find this annoying, but its in place to protect you as as well as our existing membership much as possible.

Posting classifieds: We have had a member that joined, posted a classified, and never delivered on the item, ripping off our existing valued members. By setting a post count, it helps to eliminate these types of new members, but does not completely prevent it. It's not perfect, but does provide the buyer some help in deciding if they wish to buy from a "newbie" with a low post count. Many of our members will search on the new members posts to see if they can be considered "reputable", based on these posts they made in other forums here on this site; a good tool in making a purchase decision.

And the staff, along with our valued membership watch those that attempt to use "canned" replies to get their post count up. When this is done, the posts are deleted, and your post count is subtracted by this post amount that was deleted.

Trying to post this,,hope this gets to right people

Just picked up a 2001 bullitt with 59000 miles on it with some suspension damage on it.
It pushed the right front wheel back about an inch.
It took a hit on the right front lower control arm
And bent the K member.
I picked a good used K member from a 95 or 96.
The seller wasn't sure what year it came out of.
The K member has 4 holes the top (2 on each side of the towers}
The measurement from the 2 front holes center to center is 34 1/8.
The back holes center to center are 33 1/8.
Does anyone know if this used k member will fit in the 2001 4.6 bullitt.
The 94 to 2004 K members look the same 6cyl and 8 cyl.
The only difference that See is a center hole on top of the towers on some of the later k members.(making that 6 holes on the top of the towers}
I didn't want to go with an aftermarket k member considering that they made 5600 bullits in 2001.
I wanted to keep it stock
Thanks Tim
