You get a different tag in the online portion of the forum and you get more mail space. The last I knew, those were the only perks.

I do love the app. I've seen several changes in just the time I've been here. I do hope they work on a few things tho. I should have paid to be a supporter by now, honestly. I've met a ton of guys and us cruise from this forum. Some great people.

Go under browse and then community forums. Garages are there.

Only I can't see the pics. They are almost all in Web view or whatever.

And to be a mod or admin what are the requirements, and perks?
Asking just to satisfy my curiosity...
(I know mods can close threads, can they do anything else?)

To be a mod you have to be recommended based on your contribution to the forum....

To be a supporter you just have to pay $15 per year.

I think mods are in charge of keeping things in order. They do some decision making I think on things like mustang of the month. I think that's about it. I say that like it's not a lot but I truly know it is.

So are admins basically the same or are they the top dogs, and I assume that being a mod/admin kind of makes them like the staff of the forum right?
And is there actually a number one, or is it like the mods and admins run the site?
Alright in simple terms...
Mods are the popos of the forum...

Mods are the police. Admins are the chief of police. Supporters are the donators.

So is there a top admin or do they all run the forum as a group?
I've only been here for a few months just trying to get a grasp of the hierarchy of the forum incase I might want to be apart of it someday...

Adventure till you drop

So basically right now there are two Janet and Bucko.

Mods about 5 of us. There are more mods since we're not always on at the same time and we just keep the peace and do light house keeping.

Admins make the decisions about sub-forums, etc, they also deal with technical issues as well.

Janet's probably the top (Cheif) since she's been on here forever. Bucko's like the Deputy Cheif (2nd in command)

I heard something like there used to be a mod for every forum section at one time is that true? Which I think the forum is pretty active, don't know what it used to be like. Just making that statement on what I've seen so far. Just curious to see if that is actually true...

They do a good job. I'm not sure about the admins but mods don't get paid. They do a whole lot of checking and being on here taking care of things on a voluntary basis.
