It was reported on 12-20-2016 that we are unable to add attachments to threads. An error of "insufficient memory" is given. I've reported this to the technical staff.

Not getting the same error on my end. Example users reporting this? Happening to you too?

Yep. It was first reported by Ronnie948 (member). When I tried it the same day, it too failed. Trying now (12-23), but get this error when trying to upload a picture from PC:

67_right_side.jpg:
Thumbnail creation failed due to insufficient memory.

Perhaps the file is too large? Is there a file size limit?

Hey there,

There is a size limit when uploading .jpgs, is it 2mb.
The size limits are displayed in the Go Advanced posting option, when you select Manage attachments a window will pop up. From there, scroll down within the window and all of the supported image and video formats as well as the size limits will be displayed.

If the image fits the bill, does the error message still occur?

Richard.

Hey folks,

Anyone still experiencing this, or have any information as per Richards posting on the 2mb limit?

Thanks,
- JB

My file was 3.7 meg, so your limit of 2 meg explains the reason for not uploading.

Thanks for reporting back.

This mystery "R" post by "Guest" has been reported a few days ago to the tech support team. They are aware and working on it.
