I went to Flowerfield (possible 56K Warning)

...and all I got was a lousy trophy

Flowerfield is a huge car show and swap meet. I took second place in Stock Class and was beaten out by a 70's-something Buick Riviera.

Usually the car show is jammed packed and their are hundreds of cars but it's been really ****ty here weather wise. Probably about 30 cars were entered, but some real nice ones.

Here are some shots

(my car looks good in the backgroud )

My Car!

My nephew entered his truck as well

His theme:

Hookah in the front! It was great hitting that thing for the first two hours of the car show. A little bit of a story too I'll mention near the end. By the way his truck also did take home a first place trophy and we were all excited for him. Luckily he was in his own class since we thought if he was competing against the raised F350. We were all very happy for him. First time either of us have entered our cars.

So here's a little story. If anyone has ever seen Unique Autos on SPEED TV there is an installer on there named Chet. If you've never seen Unique Autos just know it's the east coast version of West Coast Customs, and the shop does a lot of high end work for big named people. One of their installers is named Chet.

So Chet was at the show with his truck (which also took a first place if I remember correctly).

And here's the little "as mentioned later" story. Chet walked past my nephews truck as we are smoking on the hookah. He looks in and sees and just lets out a huge "YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" and continues to walk where he then yells out "Four twenty!" I couldn't help but crack up.

Anyway here's another shot of my car and small *** trophy
