Check out this muffler

I bought this warlock muffler off a guy on eBay with a really high rating. I got them today and looking at it.. I dunno are these normal? The eBay auction said they were brand new..

It looks like rust on them, but when I feel it, it feels pretty smooth. Help?

i didnt notice the mufler cut out the first time lol.. id say new just bad storage should have no effect but if it is rust may want to lightly sand it off and coat it with something i dont know what to use but you dont want the rust to eat through
gl if you get a chance please post the sound

yes I'll definitely get a vid clip up after they are installed so you can hear what a stock V6 sounds with a warlock exhaust

its single in single out, the I/O are offset, the exit with the black thing on it is a plug to where if you goto the track (or wanna make alot of noise) it flows straight through and out

I always thought they were like a grey color.

Take some sand paper and sand them down, scuff what paint you have on there and coat them in quite a few coats of your favorite color of paint. But leave some of the inlet and outlet sides bare so they can still be welded in.
