Yea I was amazed at how much sludge was in there. Oh well it doesn't matter cause she will be cleaned up and bored over soon

didn't you ever change your oil??

PS.. when I pulled my motor I had my heads off and all pistons out in about an hour after getting the engine on an engine stand..

what's the holdup?

I don't have my rotating assembly, heads, or intakes here yet.

That is not the engine that is in my car right now either.

I have an seperate engine I am stripping down, machining and rebuilding to drop into the car.

even without the assemblies there you should have everything apart taking measurements inspecting the block, et al making sure its worthy of being a donor..

just my opinion though

He is. I told him to have the blocks line bore check, cylinders 30 over , The block decked, block magnafluxed for cracks, the cam bearings changed

huh I though mikael is making pistons for a 30 overbore not 40

I can build engines blindfolded, in my sleep and hung upside down by my toes. The key is zip lock bags and a magic marker to label everything and lay it out in the order you take it off.

let me know a day and Ill come help you take the rest of her apart just got to pick a day im off in advance, usually tuesday, thrusday, sunday and every other saturday evening (every other friday also).

every bolt is different though for different assemblies.. if you don't know whats/what or have replacement parts already laid out.. you shouldn't work on 'em anyway
