You should give everything on the engine and the bay a good wash while it's out!!

And paint your block and valve covers while it's out!! I certainly would.

The valve covers are going to be poweder coated. Not sure about painting the block. You can barely see it when its in.

Most of that stuff isn't going back in. The block will be cleaned up at the machine shop.

I have new heads, cam, intakes, crank, oil pan coming as soon as Mikael gets done with them.

Yeah, I don't think you want Brent to do it, he can't even get an upper intake bolt off without stripping it! Besides, my truck is next on the rebuild list!

Ive got more injuries on others cars than my own like having a t5 fall on me and loosing all of his gm syncro mesh cuz he arm got tired

Stripping the head of one bolt isn't the end all of rebuilding engines. Hope you don't need a hand with your trucks engine in the future cause I'm going to be too afraid to strip something to help.
