Well last night the mayhem began. I paid for my heads and got a cam spec yesterday, soon that'll be coming as well.
So I started ripping **** off my car, labeling vac lines, and I drained the coolant in the radiator(not the block yet). I got the upper assembly, fan shroud, overflow tube, egr, valve covers, upper/lower radiator tubes, wiring harness, and the fuel rail(almost out) removed.
I'd say not too bad for 3 hours of work and basing it on my trysuty Haynes manual!
I think DangerDude said it but someone was talking about doling powder coating for $20 shipping on valve covers? Anyone know who?
Hmm, I'm almost looking at that with my car, just with the heads and intake off too.
