I always wanted to get into building rc cars.

I bought one 2 years ago at a closeout sale around here. Looks like a Lambo Murcielago but it's pretty big(like 1.5' long x 4 or 5" tall). I wanted to get a bigger electric motor and maybe do some other stuff. Just never did anything with it, still sitting in my closet.

mines battery power too, what is that, an HPI Dash?

i wouldnt waste my money on a "drift" car, all a drift car is, is an MR4TC based chassis, with a different suspension setup and a different body, unless you have experience driving the rc cars, pick up one thats a decent beginners car, and improve it as your skills improve, then get into drifting

i raced for probably 7 years, and still cant drift, occasionally i get a nice one, but thats about it

Yep, cheap little beginners car. It suits it's purpose as far as I'm concerned. I don't race or anything, just usually set up cones in a parking lot and play around for a couple minutes. I'd still like a gas powered one though, they're a whole lot faster.

not always true

we had an open practice at the track i raced at, and the nitro touring cars were actually slower than the electric touring cars, they will be faster, but they are sometimes faster than they are able to turn...

i used to have an HPI Nitro RS4, back when they first came out, and i thought it was fast, untill my friend with an identical car to my Yokomo pretty much outran me in any imaginable situation
