my newest mod to the bronco

Well I cried a little today. :cry

but i cheered up when i realized it will help me.

got pass side 90% done. need to take the grinder back over it and smooth it out and trim a little more up near the top.

first time using this

had to have some good music though while doing it

before

here is where i started crying cause i was losing good sheetmetal

first cuts made...got easier after the first couple slices a made

after

before

after

before

in the middle

after

the trimmed pieces

decided to start attacking my fender mounts to get ready to mount the sliders too. gotta finish working on this one too

decided not to do a full cut of the fenders because as of right now i have plenty of up and down travel. i can always trim more if needed but it is suffiecent for now, becaue the areas that hit with the slightest flex are gone, at least on pass side.

tomorrow i will do the drivers side and finish with the fender mount tabs. then start prepping for paint...got 8 of the rattle cans i need so far, need to check wally world to see if they have anymore.

Re: my newest mod to the bronco

Re: my newest mod to the bronco

i have a lift on it already...4" rough country

but with 36" tires the clearences were very tight on the corners of the fender. and this being a dedicated trail rig, it is less work and money to cut back the fenders then to get a body lift and or more suspension lift
