Do You See the Motorcycle?

I got this as an E-Mail just recently and usually I ignore the whole "viral E-Mail" thing but felt the need to share this. I'll leave the message in tact because I'm lazy and copy and paste rules my life. You don't have to actually forward the message is what I'm getting at.

I don't like to send things like this...but I think this help put things into perspective. People need to be aware of their surronding instead of getting lost in conversation. Please pass this along and maybe this will save someone's life....Carrie

What a mess cell phones can create.!!!
Do you see the motorcycle?

Now do you see it?

The Honda crotch rocket rider was traveling at approximately 85 mph. The VW driver was talking on a cell phone when she pulled out from a side street, apparently not seeing the motorcycle. The riders reaction time was not sufficient enough to avoid this accident. The car had two passengers and the bike rider was found INSI D E the car with them. The Volkswagen actually flipped over from the force of impact and landed 20 feet from where the collision took place.
All three involved (two in the car and the bike rider) were killed instantly. This graphic demonstration was placed at the Motorcycle Fair by the Police and Road Safety Department.
Pass this on to car drivers or soon to be new drivers, or new motorcycle owners AN D ESPECIALLY EVERYONE YOU KNOW WHO HAS A CELL PHONE!!!!!
A picture is worth a thousand words.

Wake up people , Stop talking on Cell phones and Texting while trying to drive. Put your Cell phone in the back seat !!!

Re: Do You See the Motorcycle?

I can't think of one place that 85mph is the legal speed on a stretch of road that has "side streets" connected to it.

Cool pic though, but I bet the V-dub was found to be the victim in this particular accident.

Re: Do You See the Motorcycle?

I'm just going to guess dubs was at fault but the bike was ticketed, at least I hope so. Maybe both insurance companies will refuse to pay or find 50/50 fault.
