Evo = sold (pics added)

The evo is gone. I sold it today. Well, I was kind of forced to as well. I was out getting appraisals and while one guy was test driving it at Carmax, the clutch locked up on him. Clutch pedal would not move an inch Anyway, since he had driven it some, he finished my appraisal and gave me $18,000 for the car (bone stock). I stripped everything off my car last night from cams to methanol injection to fuel pump so now I have $2500-3000 in parts to sell.

Oh anyway, I bought a new 2006 Mazda 3 i Touring to replace the Evo. It is 11:30pm and I just got home after a 10hr car buying day so there are no pictures until tomorrow. But it is Titanium Silver with black interior. Car had 2 (two) miles on it when I drove it off the lot :thumbs2:

Oh, I am getting a check for $3800 back from Carmax too. Visa bill = bye bye

So I just got home again from working all day. It's dark out and thus pics would suck, but I'll snap a few anyway and post them up in a minute.

Thomas - I don't know how hard he was, but the transfer case was just about to go out, and I pulled EVERY mod (minus the clutch) off of the car Friday night, so the comptuer was tuned for cams, methanol injection, fuel pump, etc and it didn't have any of it. I wouldn't put it past that he flogged it slightly and blew the engine too since it would run hella lean up top.

Not going to. The only thing that will be done to this car is change the antenna from the RC look alike kind to a shorty (which I have from my evo... if it doesn't fit, then deal with the RC look) & probably the Mazda 6 disc in-dash cd chager. My cd player now doesn't have mp3 capability, but the Alpine I had in the evo did, so all my music is on mp3 discs.

Electricstang -- If it was you, thank you :thumbs2:
