My custom matchbox size edge, check it out!!

Okay first off I bought it from walgreens for those who might want to go out and get one. They are 2 for a $1 or 55c. Anyway my edge has custom sonicblue(yes for real, I used touchup paint) hood. It has a custom from/wheels/suspension(take from a toyota baja truck i've had for years) my guess if it was at real life size it would have a 3.5 fabtech and body lift with 17-18in wheels and 35in tires. Anyway onto the pictures.

Stock:

Stock undercarrage:

Lifted(dont mind the tape it is temporarily holding it together)

custom undercarrage:

Now for some random pics of both trucks together:

These pics let you see the difference in both trucks.

Now it wouldn't be right if I didn't test out the custom suspension now would it?

Flex pics:

I had to do a lot of cutting/trimming/filling to get it to this point. Still needs a little work.

Let me know what you think

Now that has got to be the dumbest comment I have ever seen. Does it make you feel like a tough guy going around belittling every person you may dislike or have had issues with. This is not the first and probably not the last time your going to do this to me or anyone else. However in all seriousness grow up.

I decided to do something creative with my time. Weither or not it was "cool" enough for you. You could of been like "that's not my thing, but good job" or something like that instead of saying what you did.

Re: My custom matchbox size edge, check it out!!

Looks like the rear could use a touch more lift...and why don't you channel and slam the other one? That way you can have both of your trucks in one.

I'm probably going to go back and get another one. That way I have all three for comparison. Stock, lowered and lifted. The rear does need to be lifted some and i'll figure something out. It still isn't fully attached so it'll be easy to figure something out.

Re: My custom matchbox size edge, check it out!!

I'll be honest...I did the same thing to a slightly bigger scale late 80's bronco. Transplanted suspension system, looks pretty good. Didn't really lift it, but the flex is unbelievable. I'll get a pic this weekend if I remember, along with my hummer model flexing....

Sounds good. I posted this on a few other forums and they tell me I should paint it to match my truck lol

I was just testing out my touchup paint on it, but if i'm gonna paint the whole thing i'm going to sand it down and use a sprayer instead of a pen. The blue on it looks like crap lol

Ah yeh...well do that, take the body off and use an airbrush. I have a friend doing a 1:16's scale of his truck (just the body and interior) and he's using an airbrush to touch up all the stuff. Looks pretty cool so far.

Sounds cool. I'm actually getting a can of enamel sonic blue paint. So i'll sand it down and paint it with that. Then it'll be a perfect match.

I am going to build a model of what my car should look like when its completed. Unfortunately, I am going to have to buy 3 different models to put it together, plus find some wheels:

65 coupe (duh)
gt350r (for racing apron)
95 saleen (for the supercharged 5.0 and seats)

werd, then stick it on your dashboard.

ive always wanted to get a model of the car i own, then make it to when i turn on my turn signals, the models turn signals light up, or if i turn on my headlights, the models turns on and interior lights come on(dome lights n such), or when i hit the brakes, the models brakes come on. i wanted to get a tbird one back when i had the tbird, and make the model have red undercars like my tbird did, and have them come on with the tbirds.

maybe i can find a roush stang model, paint it black, find some bullitt rims........
