Engine is almost back together and new bumper inserts!!!

Hey everyone, Ibanezplayer was an 1337 mofo and sent me his unused bumper inserts so I got right on that and installed em. Thanks man they look tight.

Figured I'd also upload pics of my HCI install aswell, I'm almost done. Wednesday I get paid and Im picking up a couple bolts from Ford and a pulley installer for my powersteering and then just gotta finish hooking everything back up.

Also, just started messing around with some of the settings on my camera. I will upload some pics later but they arent very good. I think I have the basics down, dealing with shutter sped and aperture and such but not too great at it yet. More to come!

Re: Engine is almost back together and new bumper inserts!!!

Those came out a lame color. It was "Ford Blue" but not the blue I was thinking. I guess there is a Light and a Dark Ford Blue. Im going to get them repainted the color of my intake, a darker blue, along with my strut tower brace.

Re: Engine is almost back together and new bumper inserts!!!

What does everyone think of this idea. I'm going to take my whole pulley system and timing cover off next winter and get it powdercoated black, then paint my strur tower brace and upper intake letters the same color of my intake. Then just clean up the engine and get some wire looms or something.

Naw, no polishing, the chrome thing is played out. I'm blacking it all out with some color thrown in.

polishing and chroming are two different things. all that polishing involves is sandpaper and elbow grease. and smooth surfaces are easier to keep clean

Re: Engine is almost back together and new bumper inserts!!!

Some updated pics so some of you can see what I was going for with the blue.

Just waiting on 97Stallion to get me my headers and I can finish this biatch up.

Also I need my Upper Intake bolts, you can see they are just in there for alignment right now. I'm going to give my pullies another coat of black paint and try and paint the throttlebody. If it wouldnt hurt I'm gonna squirt my strut towers with the same gloss black.

I also want to try and clean the accessory brackets and so on.
