Few Pics, Painted Calipers

Few pics of the front calipers painted in sonic blue. Sorry for the crappy camera quality, haven't gotten a decent one yet...and yes the car is begging for a drop, hopefully this summer, that, GT sidescoops, and tint. Oh the last pic is just for ****s...that *** makes me tingle

I thought about cutting the stock springs but I respect my shocks/struts/tires enough not to do that. I'll wait and do it right, H&R SS's all around

I considered red, but figured every car has red. I might do black or silver if I get tired of blue.

Looks awesome man. I would leave them blue. It's different. Not to mention if you went black or silver it would blend in and not stand out as much.

Re: Few Pics, Painted Calipers

Thanks everybody...have to do the rears this week. I'm also going to add some black "mustang" caliper decals you can get on stangmods to the front calipers to really finish it off and complete the black/blue scheme.

paint them mystichrome as well! talk about an expensive mod for how small it would be...

but on a serious note, i would go with the color that shows with the least amount of light being that the caliper won't get much light where its at... from what i can tell its probably blue??

That would be badass...I'd give it a coat or two of primer before the mystic paint though...really make it pop.

Or go one step even better and get reversed mustang decals so you can actually paint the mustang logo in black on the calipers

Good idea! That'd look great too, have to keep that in mind.

Re: Few Pics, Painted Calipers

That Sonic blue on the calipers:
1) Was that standard auto paint, matching the body color code, or a can of "caliper" paint from DupliColor, etc.?
2) Did you prime with white/light or dark primer?

Thanks!

1) matching color code...basically touch up paint from when I had my GT bumper done, could not find anything close to SB in the stores/online

2) didn't even prime it I just cleaned them up real good and foam brushed 2 coats on...next time I will probably prime to make it look deeper and really pop
