Free mods for the Ranger

The donor truck I bought had power windows, locks, and mirrors while the blue truck I drive doesn't, so today I decided to start swapping them over to the blue truck. The donor truck also had the door windows tinted to match the back and back side windows, so I will be swapping those out as well.

What I have to work with.

Door panel off.

Non-power mirrors v. power mirrors (they look so much nicer).

Power accessories harness installed. I left the original harness (speaker and "door ajar" sensor) in so that I didn't have to worry about integrating the two.

Back together with switch panel installed. I re-used the door panel with the window crank hole b/c these panels are in MUCH better condition than the power window panels. Hopefully I can find a plug of some sort to fill the hole in with.

The only thing thats keeping me from having power windows, the damn window motors. Ford decided to rivet them into place instead of bolt them so I am going to have to drill the rivets out and replace them with bolts when I swap them over.

Besides, you want tweeters higher, more at head level

Depends. Some places suggest keeping them within 6in's from the speaker.
