Busy tonight..

Yay.

Got home from work to a nice surprise, Amazon shipped and delivered the catback I'd ordered within 36 hours. (this was purchased using an amazon promo.. 25% off all magnaflow products.. should have gotten a midpipe while I was at it, don't usually see their catbacks below $490ish, got it for 375 shipped)

Of course I had to change into some scrubs and have at it

(and ignore the ghetto jack stand setup, where I was lifting the car was tipping the jackstand on one side, so I threw another one under)

Yes, I know the garage is a mess.. It happens - it serves its purpose haha

The new stuff:

The flowmaster 40s tacked into place...:

The catback installed

The tip:

Overall.. The magnaflow catback sounds a LOT deeper when on the gas, I enjoy the difference a ton.. And no more 25 MPH and 50+ MPH drone.. Definitely a fan, pretty impressed with the quality, though I had to file down some burrs on the cuts, and I had to clean a lot of shavings/cutting oil out of the pipes..

Doubt it helped much performance wise, but one can hope

With some fine adjustment/alignment all told took about 2.5 hours to install, well worth it..

Just disappointed that I had to cut the stock catback (thank god for sawzalls) I was able to get my stock catback off my fox without cutting anything

I'm sure I could have gotten it out with the struts and upper control arms out of the way, but not worth it

Looks good, now if you only didn't live in Nazi land you could do like we just did on Tiff's GT and go with an O/R H. It woke that car up.

looks good and definately not worth it to save. we spent several hours saving my old setup for a friend and ended up having to cut one of the tips off anyway.

Re: Busy tonight..

Very nice...I like magnaflows on the v8 cars, especially the magnapacks.

I passed on the magnapacks, I was tired of the overly loud mufflers.. I wanted something a little quieter, at least at idle and cruise

Plus magnapacks sound too raspy/poppy to me.. the magnaflow are just right
