Thats a beautiful car. I love the nice toned down look of it. Can't really call it a sleeper, but it's close.

So you are saying turbo cobra's are slow...... Maybe you should take a look at the winner of KOTS Competition in 5.0 last year. Daily driven 800+ hp from dynospeed. Badass car indeed.

And nothing beats a car with a wobbly chassis, weak brakes, and no steering feel.

That's funny, I don't recall any "chassis" differences from 79-04, Mr. Self Pwnage, just slight modifications to cater to the change in look. Why do you think when you order shocks/springs/uca's/lca's/etc it'll say 87-04 or something of the like?

Even if you are just talking about rigidity of the chassis, the notches are by far the "stiffest" of all the fox platformed stangs. .

my 89 with eibachs owned my 02 GT on the corners, even with crappy tires... the brakes would lock up the two front tires way too easily on the foxes though haha... the brakes on the 99+ were much better, but that can be upgraded

steering feel.... no comment, aside from the fact that the steering definitely felt more isolated in my 02 than my 89/92.. you can feel the road in the foxes...

Re: Nitroused Notchback vs 690RWHP Turbo-ed Cobra

...to add to that, as much as I am a mustang fan, you will never hear me talk "bad" about any mustang(save for the dark ages of 74-78). That's like me saying I'd never own an 03-04 Cobra because of the IRS. It's a mustang, I'd own it, mod it to hell and back, and drive the piss out of it until something gives. Then guess what, I'll fix it, replace whatever may break, and do the same dam thing again. Our 66 had 4 wheel drums, no power brakes, no AC, no headliner, no power steering, manual windows, but guess what, it was a stang and Brandy drove that car like no tomorrow before we were together and we still drove it till we sold it.

:thumbs2: I don't care what ya'll say a Foxbody chassis is not as stiff as a 94-up Mustangs. Ford really did a pretty good job IMO of refining the Fox platform over the years, theres actually quite a few differences, but no the 94-up Mustangs chassis isn't some overly rigged chassis, but it is a sigificant leap over a stock Foxbodies. I've driven a 91 GT, a 92 GT, a 89 LX,(I haven't driven a notch) and several sn95s, and New Edge Mustangs so I not just saying something that I read off another site or something. Ya'll don't get me wrong I love Foxbodys. My homeboys 92 GT that I drove was a damn fast street car and I now that you can build them to handle extremely well, but if ya'll are going to go around and always taut them as being the best Mustang ever then I'm going to argue the point with you, especially since half of ya'll get mad if a Terminator owner says anything about a GT500. Foxbodies are not the best Mustangs ever, neither is a 03/04 Cobra. Whether you like them or not the 05 and up are, if you don't believe me then go drive one their actually very nice, modern cars.

It depends on what you want from a car. My '90 is much more fun to drive than the '06 if I'm in the mood for going fast. If I want a nice relaxing drive, the '06 is better.

That being said, my '90 outperforms my '06 in every way possible for probably around 16k less after accounting for mods.
