Thumbs up Bling Bling MoFo's

Got my wheels in today but they wont be going on until I get my Coilovers, Subframe Connectors, Rearend Brace, K-Member Brace, Strut Tower Brace, Wheel Spacers, and Tires.

Hopefully that want take to long. I went ahead and bought the rims because I've been looking for them for months and they just now got some back in stock. The chrome 18x10.5 are pretty popular and sell out pretty often.

Rapped up.

These stupid looking center caps will be replaced with SVT ones.

18x9 front and 18x10.5 rear.

The rears are going to look nice with some Nitto Drag Radials.

You guys know that you can buy a set of stock 03-04 Cobra machined wheels straight from Ford, brand new for $600 a set... right?

gefracing.com: 03 COBRA WHEEL

Nice wheels though. I think they are probably my favorite for the 03-04 Cobras as far as Ford-styled wheels go.

I have to see what happens with this ticket thing on Tuesday. It might be several months before I get them put on.

FR500's don't look good on Terminators like they do on other Mustangs IMO.

thats not really going after much, its a stock termie with a drop :dunno:

but id be 50/50 on the fence with either Chrome stockies or Chrome fr500's on a sonic blue termie. it would take me a long long time to figure out which i wanted to go for, the biggest thing being what tires could be mounted on which rim, as BFG KDW2's dont come in anything bigger than a 295 for a 18" rim (or any rim for that matter if i recall), so id have to go with a different tire to fit a 10.5" rim, and i am a huge fan of teh kdw2's now.

A) That Terminator has chrome 18" AFS rims with 10.5" wide wheels in the rear. The same wheels I order, it is a much improved stock look.

B) There are plenty of people running 295's on 10.5" rims. Its one of the more popular sizes on a 10.5" rim.

C) I have no intention of going with either 295's or BFG's on my car right now.

D) I don't want to talk about putting FR500 my Cobra because it will not happen while I have my car. Sorry. If ya'll like them on your cars that fine they look very attractive on there, but IMO they do not go good with the look of a Terminator so they were never a consideration by me.

A) Yes but aside from 1.5" more tire, its still stock looking

B) why would you run just a 295 on a 10.5" rim? if i was gonna spend the extra to get a rim that can mount a 315, i would get a 315 wide tire.

C) what tires are you gonna run?

D) anything you put on it is gonna look awesome, i do love the stock chromies on the terminators as much as i do some fr500's, which is why id be on the fence if it were me. any chrome rim on sonic blue is a classy and clean look ;thumbs2:

btw those DD cobra rears look ****ing sweet!

A) The extra 1 in diameter is very noticable IMO.

B) Because 295 are pretty big to begin with, there are no 10" stock replica's made to my knowlegde, and It will give you a nice low-profile look.

C) I'm leaning towards Nitto NT555 275/40/18 fronts, and Nitto NT555R 305/35/18 rears. I have also consider the 335/30/18's on the rear but thats a little big for a 10.5 rim even though some are doing it.(A little trivia about Nitto drag radials is all of their tires 315 and smaller are actually undersized, but their 335's are actually a little oversized) I have also considered some Good Year Eagle F1 CG-D3 tires as these are suppose to be very good all around street tires and of course are much better rain tires than drag radials.

D) Sorry, I just don't think that FR500's look good on Terminators like they do on GT's, SN95's and even Foxes. I do think they look good on your car though.
