I don't like it. I'd rather have Chrome or Polished than that.

I like black on black on cars as long as the lip is polished.

Re: Black on Black

If the lip is polished, or there are polished bolts, it at least breaks it up a little...but still doesn't look that good.

Every one of those with no polished lip look like someone stole their hub caps.

Black Car...with black tires...around black rims = boring and dull...there is no pop at all. It's enough to put you to sleep.

Colors that look good: White on white, yellow on yellow...other than that, it is not good. Red on red is kinda ugly as well.

Re: Black on Black

lol @ the batmobile

Black on black looks great as long as theres something to break up the black of the wheel, and the black of the tire. Just straight black is VERY hard to pull off IMO

Re: Black on Black

hate it

IMO its boring and classless and played out. no matter how shiny it looks or with a polished lip, when the car is moving, it looks like someone stole your hub caps. then again, even standing still it looks like someone stole your hub caps.

i like a look thats classy not trashy. then again if you look at whats sitting in my garage right now i really have no room to talk.

Re: Black on Black

yours is one of the few with black rims/polished lips i do like, but i think its the whole combination if things, you have a 94-98 which look a bit more muscular, especially with fat meats out back and a deep dish. but i think the dish makes you forget the rims are black and it helps break up the monotony of a black rim.

At least I am seeing that I Am not the only one that doesn't feel black on black...on cars anyhow...I don't mind being the polished accent in a black on black chick sandwich...but on cars...no.

Re: Black on Black

A vehicle has to have some contrast. I mean, that Vette that was shows (along with some others) just look retarded IMO because there's no change anywhere throughout the vehicle. What, are you trying to evade the cops at night and disappear into the darkness? I don't get the appeal at all.

As long as a vehicle has some chrome/polished areas and maybe a polished lip on the wheels, I might be interested, but if it's just one solid colour (like that Vette), I don't care how bad *** that thing might be on the street, I'll walk right by because there's absolutely nothing visually interesting about the car.

Classless and trashy? Come on. I can understand that you don't like the look (I guess), but classless. Half of those cars are high end (Lamborghini, Porshe, Ferrari, etc.), they still have class.

I was in Hollywood a few months ago and a black on black Murcielago went by. Believe me, it was the furthest thing from classless. Everyone turned their head to see what was causing all of the thunder. That thing was sick.

As nice as yours and my Mustangs are, we wouldn't be turning heads in Hollywood, sorry.

Look at these cars, classless, trashy? They're just different types, just like there's different types of women. But, these *****es ain't cheap.

lol i could give two ****s what the ****tards in hollywood think is classy. by looking at what comes out of that entire region, anything they say or suggest is the direct opposite of whats reality.

that mustand is alright, but IMO chrome rims would set it off alot better. that lambo is ugly with black rims btw, reminds me of every other civic i see around here with that same scheme.

Good point about Hollywood. Homos aside, my point was that in L.A./Hollywood there are many, many tricked out cars. And, since Hollywood pretty much sets every trend, you and everyone else follows, it might be a good place to judge what looks hot and what doesn't.

I guarantee you, most of the stuff you think is cool came from the West Coast.
