Yeah, they were talking about possibly not rebuilding the town.

Related note...it was reported this morning that they were hit with an F8 tornado....and that it was a major city that was wiped out. I guess that media source needed build the news up some.

Last I heard was 10...but according to this article...only 8 in that town, 2 elsewhere
FOXNews.com - Residents of Kansas Town Destroyed by Tornado Allowed to Return; 1 Survivor Found - Local News | News Articles | National News | US News

Amazing considering the damage. It took out the school, hospital, and pretty much everything else in sight.

I know, it has a pop of like 1500...and an F8? Damn, I need to get me one of those scales cause last I checked it went to F5 = hand of God. Real news channels were reporting it was an F5...which explains the carnage.

Unless a storm chaser got some video of it and even at that it would be hard to see.

I know that...the F8 was just proof that the news tries to build stories, not tell them. It was their number.

It was, however, classified as an F5 officially last I heard though.

It is because they are after ratings these days...so, it is time to create the news instead of report the news.

yep, thats why they dont report good **** goin down overseas... its all about what stirs up conversation, not what the actual report is. The actual report is "boring" but **** they get to make up and skew for everyone else is what makes the money.

Sucks that the media has to compete with hollywood these days
