Talking The Great Snowpression

So we got some major snow again. We had a first white christmas since 1989 and now only a little over 2 weeks later we are getting another record snow in Alabama!! As of 2am 1-10-2011 we have 8-9" of snow on the ground and its still coming down. they are saying possible up to another 1-3 inches of snow tomorrow! I only snapped a couple pictures real quick, but I will get tons more tomorrow. I'm going to have fun scrapping it all off the ranger lol.

Wow. We are used to it up here and are prepared for it. People there don't have snow tires and street tires on snow are a definite white knuckle ride. For sure. Good luck and keep the stang in the driveway. Don't want someone to hit ya in that kind of weather

Ah yes....aren't you glad there is global warming? I say we stoke the fires a bit more and turn it up to global broiling here soon...I left the north to get away from the cold....

Too bad, New England and Mass (where I am) have only had one storm so far and most of that snow is melted. Supposedly another storm on Wednesday but we'll see if that happens.

Re: The Great Snowpression

i wish we could get JUST ONE snow storm like that. just for the experience. the most i've ever seen on the ground was maybe 2 inches. and it didn't last long....

but i know that'll never happen. hoping to plan a vacation up north next year.

I looked out the window at the frigid cold snow. That was close enough for me.

People around here are clueless at driving when it snows, my parents grew up in Upstate NY so they taught me how to handle snow pretty well. I love laughing at people when they go off the road. Except that GT I got a little depressed when I saw that lol

Driving in the snow is fun when there isn't any other cars out. Usually no cops out driving around like usual, and if you do get seen sliding corners, they don't give a ****, they don't want to get out of their cars! At least around here anyway. Went to the store earlier and saw a cop cutting ****ties in the parking lot. I couldn't get my phone out fast enough to get a pic though. So I follwed up with an ebrake slide in the contour! Driving in the snow is a blast sometimes!

My AWD Talons were the funnest though. Get those things to spin on their own axis like someone stuck a pole right through the top of the car! Good times!

Pick up trucks are good to. My cousin took me for a drive in it and those are the best for power sliding! lol
