Got some work done today!

So I had a few friends over and we got the engine out today. I've pulled some other items off of the engine but need to get the crankshaft pulley but I think I'll need an impact wrench for that cuz it just turns the crankshaft when I try to loosen it.... I should have done that before I pulled the belt off!

Here's one ugly hampster!

Re: Got some work done today!

It came out pretty easily once everything was disconnected. I had 2 friends there, one on each side to watch clearances.

I need to borrow an impact wrench to get the crank pulley off and then it will really come apart

Re: Got some work done today!

you can get the crank bolt off without an impact you just need a pry bar to hold the flywheel while you break the bolt loose

Re: Got some work done today!

I can get a hold of the impact wrench pretty easily, the flywheel is already off of the engine and getting it back on with the engine stand in the way could prove troublesome.

I'm going to use a strap wrench along with the impact wrench to go ahead and get the bolt out
