Lol

I guess all the 2Vs out there running catless with long tubes have been doing it all wrong... did he explain his reasoning as to why it would not be good for the motor? Because last I knew having exhaust flow is not a bad thing

Yup, I enjoy hearing people blame back pressure to cover up their lack of knowledge in exhaust flow

Thanks. Just need to finally clean the wheels and tires. In the process of finding another tire cleaner. The one I use is turning the tires yellow. Red rocket is here too. It makes the mustang look fat.

Doing a quick detail before we open up. Love the graphics but they're a bltch to keep clean. It's getting fresh graphics later on, with a P-51 hood stripe.

Got her out today for a little cruise. Not too much longer before its put up; so I'm enjoying her now. Considering getting the shorty antenna from AM, along with Kooks longtubes.

That shorty antennae does quite a bit appearance wise. I would recommend it.

The antenna doesn't really bother me. But you know I'll give it a shot. Do you have it? Did affect your radio any? Plus it being 9 bucks from AM is nice too.

When I bought my shorty antenna from Amazon, my reception sucked for a few months. It's great now though, fixed itself.

My shorty antenna has a noticebly worse reception than my stock one did. It doesnt really bother me much since i listen to my ipod thru it anyway

Maybe its because my mustang is much older than the others that stated it didnt effect their reception though??

I never listen to the radio. I'm auxiliary all day. I'd love to be Bluetooth but I'm not that fancy.

Well the reason I asked is for more of an appearance mod than anything. I read a lot of people like how their car looks with them. So I thought why not. And I basically only listen to the radio when I'm waiting in a drive-thru. Because while I'm driving the exhaust is my music. With the new axelbacks it has a sweet spot at 3,000-3,500, sounds so good. I appreciate all the feedback fellas. Thanks, I'll be ordering it tomorrow or Wednesday.

I think the only people that notice a shorty antenna is:::

The people that put them on their Mustangs.
I really don't think it is much different weather you have the original or a shorty if the rest of the car looks good. The antenna is really not a focus point that drew your eye to it unless you are actually looking to see if a shorty has been installed.
