I do kinda love it. And unfortunately no just the 5.4 Triton. It's my grandpas truck and were selling it so he let me drive it around till I get my window fixed. My dads looking for a truck and I think I have him sold on a 2007 King Ranch with the 6.0l Powerstroke. http://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/3801189157.html

*drool* I'm trying to find a good powerstroke. Even though the 6.0 have problems, they're cheaper to "bullet proof" and mod than a cummins or dmax. Plus, strokes are sexy lol. Watched a video of a newer pstroke outrunning a shelby haha

They make crazy torque like 570. And I mean at 128,000 miles on a diesel is like brand new. Throw some stacks on it and a tune and I might trade him my stang lol.

I would too! Haha! They actually have one of the highest rated transmissions If I remember correctly. I'm patiently waiting for the right stroke to come around haha

Really nice ones are out there and there a hell of a lot cheaper than Cummins or Duramax. Older ones can be bought pretty cheap.

GET AN OASIS REPORT BEFORE YOU EVER BUY A POWERSTROKE!

The 6.0 is the most problematic of the Powerstrokes ever for various reasons. Oil pump, EGR, variable vane turbo... the turbos are generally ok now since all the fuels we have are ultra low sulfur but the EGR and oil pumps are known issues as are the headgaskets failing. 06/07 engines did have some upgrades from Ford but if you want a dead nuts reliable (or as reliable as a 6.0 can get) you need to do what is called "bulletproof" the motor.

If this is all known to you already I apologize. Might be good for someone else looking for a Diesel though...

Ain't that the truth. Our second 6.0 locked up last week. Studs, gaskets, bulletproof egr and cooler. Hoping they'll last more than 70k this time. Still have a third 6.0 we're waiting to go out.

IMO get a Ford truck with a V8 or V10 and then drop a 12V Cummins into it. You'll have a motor that'll go a million miles (yes a million) with the right care although I'm not sure the truck will last 1/4 that mileage haha. There is at least one guy over on the Cummins forums who has a million mile 12v with many pushing over the 500k mark. 7.3 Powerstrokes are another ridiculously reliable powerplant and a reason that the early 2000s Super Duty/Excursion diesels still command the prices they do.

Anyway back on topic...

Back when she had her original interior and the PO still had her... I REALLY need to go out and get some good pics of my own. Lots of perfect places on the base to do it too...
