Just got a new beater for free from the Old Man. Been for sale for awhile, no takers, not with 142k+ on the clock and original drivetrain. Its actually pretty nice for what it is.

2003 Mazda 6 with every option available that year I believe. Owned by my Parents since new.

Runs and drives like a top, gets 22-24 mpg, surprisingly good passing power. All maintenance has been done already and hopefully it'll last long enough for me to get my CSVT back up and running. Then I'll either keep it as a spare or dunno, might make a good trade in candidate.

Holy crap! That will be a nice winter car. And those miles aren't bad. You'll be driving that for years Scotty. Can't beat the price. Gotta love the parents...

This one has a 3.0 woot woot. Parents were crazy about the maintenance and I just did the oil myself when I got it so hopefully the bearings hold up.

Kind of thinking if I should go to the MGW now that they have the new setup. I won't with the T-45 but if I swap to a 3650 with the .62 overdrive or a Cobra T-56 I definitely am considering it. I hate the stock shifter reach...

I LURVE having the shifter further back where it is. Yeah I can't shift quite as fast as I used to... I can still bark the tires if I really slam it down into 2nd and it's also seemed to "fix" my t45 at least for now... Would grind when trying to quickshift with the tiny stock Steeda handle, probably a slightly bent fork, having a longer throw slows me down just enough so I can slam away and no grinding.
