how well do your lights shine through them? i'm in need of some blacked out lights, but i don't have enough to just buy lights themselves. any problems with the law regarding the covers too?

It takes some adjusting driving at night but I don't have fogs. I bet that helps a ton

when compared to vinyl covers, which are better? cause i'm looking to black out my lights, but i really want to put something on it that i know will protect the light from getting faded again, i literally just today finished redoing my headlights and third brake light, and they look brand new. i want to keep it that way without having to clean them every few months.

I had vinyl on my first mustang and I liked it. Only thug was one time it rained a lot and one started to come off while I was driving.

The covers look better because they are way darker IMO

how well does light shine through? and how about johnny law? cause in florida you're not allowed to have like anything besides a clear covering, and it's 118 per light, and being a high school student without a regular income, i won't be able to dish out 700+ for something like that. so i'm really trying to avoid any run ins.

I have the exact same covers and just couldn't see anything with the headlights smoked like that. I even got brighter bulbs in hope that I could leave them on. They do make the car look sick. Now mine just sit in my trunk. Beautiful ride btw

I Would go with vinyl in your case. I've had the covers on mine and in FL of you get pulled over it's 116 dollars for just the front. Never had problems with cops with the vinyl but the covers.,, kinda. They were more interested in pulling me over for tinted tail lights and then getting me for the front too while I was pulled over. Mostly FHP. Some say they are legal during the day. The covers are hard to get used to driving at night and are hard to see unless you have an HID kit it something.
