Check this: I stuck my head under the front bumper and looked up and was horrified at what I saw- I got my 05 used a few weeks ago... I've already done a ton of work on it, and I couldn't believe I missed this when i looked at the car. Just didn't think to get on the ground in front of it. You can't see this, but knowing it was there made me crazy. I figured a body shop would want an arm and a leg, I think it's beyond a detailer, and for sure beyond me. I found a small company here in Richmond that came to my job and fixed it in 3 hrs for $245. I think they did a phenomenal job- can't see any damage at all. They are called the Bumper Guys, and they are the bomb. The damage was across the entire front underside. Here's before and after pics:

That was money well spent. Shocking how well of a job they did.

Yeah I was about speechless when I saw it. I couldn't believe the price- with my last car I got estimates from a couple shops to fix a door ding the size of a quarter. It was in a tough spot and all, needed paint and dent work-?"but I was quoted $585 and $710.
This damage ran the entire length of the bumper so who knows what they wouldve wanted to fix that!

I'm not entirely sure of their process. They had a mobile van with all the equipment in it- and they put the car's front end up on ramps. From what I understood, the damage was so deep it had to be sanded then filled, then repainted. They have some sort of special paint gizmo machine that they can use to mix and replicate any color on the spot. The color matching is absolutely perfect- as is the finished surface.
