Game rig gets a little better...

Got the little AMD machine buttoned back up and moved over to my computer desk. Drove out to Brentwood, TN on Saturday and picked myself another little toy...

It's an LG 24"er. It does 1920x1200 with an 8ms response time.

you can get an account on Newegg or TigerDirect and just pay it down monthly. i have about 2-300$ on mine right now and will have it back up to ~700$ shortly. it is however the only "credit card" basically i use, i sliced up my Capitol One card just in case (was about to go ape**** on mods for the GT at one point). i usually pay ~100$/mo on my Newegg account, when it gets low, i buy something else. aside from my car loan, its my only current open line of credit.

Re: Game rig gets a little better...

Newegg also does a no payments for 6 months on purchases over 500 i believe... It is how I bought my machine, and also why I am about to get a nice finance charge from those 6 months thrown on to the price since I haven't paid it off yet.

All the 24s I found are 8ms.

Edit: These are the three that I was considering. It was the opinion of the Great Big Intarweb that the LG was the best one for gaming...

LG L245WP-BN

SAMSUNG 245BW

Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP

Re: Game rig gets a little better...

There is room for it, with a little bit of arranging.

Mark that was a fun ride to Vols country. You can bring it over to my house again any time you'd like...and leave it there.
